CROWN ROAST OF PORK

SERVING AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS

We hope that you enjoy this Crown Roast of Pork and Dried Cherry and Pecan Dressing. Following is helpful serving information to ensure your satisfaction.

Packing Materials:

The ice chest container should be opened immediately upon arrival and food contents placed in the refrigerator or freezer. The Crown Roast of Pork and dressing were shipped frozen from our plant and should arrive semi frozen or cool to the touch. The seasoning packet can be room temperature but should be kept in the refrigerator upon arrival. Packing materials may be thrown away. Keep small children away from packing materials.

Pork Roast - Serving Instructions:

• If frozen, thaw pork roast in the refrigerator for about 3 days.

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place oven rack on the second level from the bottom.

• Place the roast bone side up on a roasting pan.

• Season the roast with salt, black pepper and the seasoning packet of olive oil and herbs.

• Place roast in the oven for approximately 2 ½ hours. Internal temperature should be cooked to a minimum of 150 degrees and the juices should run clear.

• Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before slice. The internal temperature will continue to rise after removing from the oven to approximately 160 to 165 degrees during the resting period.

Dried Cherry and Pecan Dressing –

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

• Remove the cover and seran wrap, then cover dressing with foil.

• Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 to 30 minutes then remove the foil for a crisper dressing and continue to cook an additional 15 minutes.

Presentation: • Once the roast is fully cooked you may stuff the center of the roast with the heated dressing.

• Slice the Crown Roast of Pork between the bones and serve with the dressing.

• The juices from the pan may be poured over the roast for added flavor.
