DRIED CHERRY STEAK SAUCE

Star Chef David McMillan's full-bodied steak sauce is a rich, succulent blend of veal stock, red wine and dried cherries. Use this steak sauce straight from the jar as a flavorful topping for beef, pork, venison or lamb. For an elegant variation, heat sauce with a touch of cream and Dijon mustard along with the pan drippings. You won't be disappointed. GLUTEN FREE, ALL NATURAL. Contains: Milk, Sulfites.
We begin with soaking dried cherries in red wine and balsamic vinegar. When the cherries have softened we puree them as smooth as possible and then add fresh sauteed onions in butter. Then we add in a real veal demi glace and a touch of brown sugar to the sauce. This sauce contains nothing but the best of ingredients.
